The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads consist of around 120 miles of navigable rivers and a series of adjoining navigable broads. I first visited the Broads in 1968 as part of a party of scouts in a fleet of hired yachts. I returned several times on the same annual trip over my teenage years. In more recent years I have both raced and cruised under sail extensively. In this section I recount some of my sailing experiences there and also provide some useful information.
